# How to get OKB?

OKB is the native token of X Layer, as well as the cryptocurrency that powers the OKX ecosystem.

You can trade OKB like any other cryptocurrency, and can also use OKB in a wide range of applications and use cases. OKB is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network and can be bridged to X Layer at a 1:1 ratio.

## There are a few ways of getting OKB.

1. Purchase OKB on Centralized Exchanges (OKX, Gate.io, BitMart etc.,) and bridge it to X Layer
2. Purchase OKB on-chain DEX (OKX DEX, Uniswap v3. Ethereum)
3. Claim mainnet faucet on projects available on X Layer (Revoswap).
